We have learned with deep sorrow that 42 people died and more than 130 people were injured in the attacks perpetrated at different locations in Zaranj, which is the center of Nimroz Province and in Kunduz Province in Afghanistan.
We wish mercy upon those who had lost their lives, convey our condolences to their bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.
We strongly condemn this attack aimed at disrupting the efforts towards peace, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan. Turkey will continue to stand by the Afghan people in this difficult period they are going through.
